- LOCTITE® 536 is a smooth, off-white, opaque, industrial grade, high performance dimethacrylate ester acrylic instant sealant paste for tapered pipe threads, designed to provide low breakaway torque for ease of disassembly even when the threads are subjected to continuous heat. It can withstand temperatures to +350.6 °F (+177 °C). It is also recommended for industrial plant, fluid power systems.
- High lubricating properties of this compound prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and all other metal pipe threads and fittings
- Recommended for sealing metal tapered pipe threads and fittings for industrial applications in the chemical processing, petroleum refining, pulp/paper, waste treatment, textile, utilities/power generation, marine, automotive, gas compression and distribution industries
